Updated: July 1st, 2026
We've written hundreds of letters over the years but this is the hardest one we've had to write ourselves.
Moving forward, every story, every letter, every hidden clue and postcard will still all be there, on the same bi-monthly schedule you know. It just won't come through your mailbox anymore.
All subscriptions paid for before July 1st 2026 will still be mailed out in a physical letter, but starting today, we are moving from physical mail to 100% digital delivery.
We built this company on the idea that there's something irreplaceable about a real envelope, a real stamp, the walk to the mailbox. That belief hasn't changed.Â
But the realities of rising postage and other costs, letters lost or delayed in transit, address changes, and some customers waiting weeks longer for the same story have made the experience less reliable than we want it to be and are issues we want to resolve.
So we made the harder choice: change the format, protect the story.
Here's what stays exactly the same:
Here's what's actually better:
We're not going to pretend this is what you signed up for. It isn't. But we hope you'll give it a chance to become its own kind of ritual. The story was always the heart of this, and now it's a fuller story than we've ever been able to tell.
If this change means the letters aren’t right for you anymore, we understand completely, and you're welcome to cancel or pause anytime. No hard feelings, no hoops to jump through. Just reply to this email and we'll take care of it personally or use the cancel option in your account.
Before doing so, we encourage you to at least experience your next letter for free HERE. Signing in is simple, just use the same email you are using now.
Of course, if you have any questions just respond to this email and we are happy to answer. We also put together a full FAQ section HERE you can read.
With gratitude and a little bit of nervousness,
The Postscript Society Team
